Infamously seen in Danny Boyle's 1996 hit film 'Trainspotting', The Volcano nightclub was located by Partick Cross in Glasgow's West End.  Originally called Cinders Disco, the club was renamed in 1989 and ran throut out the 1990's offering a local late-night haunt to many Partick people.  Popular across a variety of age groups and clientele, more than a few people I know cited this city night spot as the club of choice in their late teens as they started to dip a toe in the ole clubbin'!  Sadly the building has since been demolished.
