The O2 Academy on Eglinton Street on Glasgow's Southside is a former church, cinema and bingo hall, now turned music and events venue. The venue opened in it's current guise in 2003 and has been a popular place for comfortably sized gig ever since. The Killers' 2006 gig at the Academy sold out in a record three minutes!
