Kelvingrove Art Gallery is probably one of the most well-known buildings in Glasgow, housing a mind boggling collection of fabulous art and artefacts collected and donated over the years.  Not many a local won't have more than one childhod memory of day spent here in the cool marble halls looking at the elephant, the amazing ceiling or more recently, the floating heads.  The building itself is a huge and beauftiful landmark in the west of the city.
