Located on Wilson Street, in the heart of Glasgow's Merchant City, The Polo Lounge first opened its doors in 1996. The LGBTQ+ inclusive safe space is now something of an institution and a rite of passage for many. It may be set in a somewhat traditional red sandstone Glasgow building but The Polo Lounge is now louder and prouder than ever, and its street frontage is testament to that with its fabulous flags and colourful lighting.
