The Waverley Paddle Steamer is the last seagoing passenger-carrying paddle steamer in the world. Built in 1946, she carried passengers from Craigendoran Pier, near Helensburgh as far as Arrochar on Loch Long. She was taken out of commission in 1973 before being rescued.. Following restoration, PS Waverley operates excursions each summer from Glasgow and around the coast of Britain. She is remembered fondly by many who have travelled 'doon the watter' and beyond with her!
These hand drawings, by Turadh Design Co, depict a selection of travel and transport themes. What better way to get record a special memory than with a drawing of the location itself!
The prints are hand-drawn and digitally rendered. Framed artworks and loose artwork prints can make a great addition to your home or make fantastic gifts for the special people in your life.
